Years in Business

Every oven type, covered

Single wall, double, range, or a steam oven — whatever you bake in, we've fixed one before.

Single Wall Oven

One oven built into the wall at eye level. We fix bake/broil elements, igniters, sensors, and control boards.

Double Wall Oven

Two ovens stacked for serious cooking. We service both cavities — elements, fans, latches, and boards.

Range Oven

The oven below your cooktop. We repair heating elements, thermostats, door seals, and self-clean faults.

Built-In Oven

Flush, cabinet-mounted units from premium brands. Specialized work on sealed boards and hidden elements.

Convection Oven

Fan-forced even baking. We fix convection motors, fan blades, and the sensors that drive them.

Steam Oven

Steam and combi-steam cooking. We handle water systems, steam generators, and sensor faults.

What's really going on with your oven?

Pick the symptom you're seeing. We'll walk you through the usual suspects — and what it takes to fix each one.

Won't heat at all

An oven that stays cold while the cooktop works fine almost always comes down to a single failed heating component — and it's a standard, affordable repair.

Common causes we check:

  • Burnt-out bake or broil element
  • Failed igniter (gas ovens)
  • Faulty oven temperature sensor
  • Broken thermal fuse or limit switch
  • Failed control board or relay

We confirm which heating part died and swap it — back the same visit in most cases.

Uneven or slow baking

If one side burns while the other stays pale, or everything takes far too long, the oven isn't holding even heat — usually a sensor, element, or seal issue.

Common causes we check:

  • Weak or partially failed element
  • Out-of-spec temperature sensor
  • Worn door gasket leaking heat
  • Failed convection fan (if equipped)
  • Miscalibrated control board

We test actual cavity temperature and bring it back to even, accurate heat.

Door won't close

A door that won't latch or sits crooked lets heat escape — wrecking your baking and your energy bill. It's almost always the hinges or the seal.

Common causes we check:

  • Broken or sprung door hinges
  • Worn or torn door gasket
  • Bent door or misaligned strike
  • Failed door spring
  • Damaged hinge receiver slots

We re-seat or replace the hinges and gasket so it shuts tight and holds heat.

Self-clean stuck

Self-clean locks the door and runs extreme heat — and when it jams mid-cycle with the door locked, you need it handled properly, not forced.

Common causes we check:

  • Failed door lock motor or assembly
  • Tripped thermal fuse from clean-cycle heat
  • Faulty control board after a clean cycle
  • Stuck door latch mechanism
  • Blown element from the high heat

We safely release the lock and fix whatever the clean cycle damaged.

Temperature reads wrong

When the oven runs hotter or colder than the dial says, your recipes never come out right. It's a calibration or sensor problem — and very fixable.

Common causes we check:

  • Drifted or failed temperature sensor
  • Control board out of calibration
  • Faulty thermostat (older ovens)
  • Sensor touching the cavity wall
  • Worn door seal skewing the reading

We measure the true temperature and recalibrate so the dial tells the truth.

Light or display fault

A dead oven light or a glitchy display is usually a quick fix — and worth doing, since you can't bake safely in the dark or with controls you can't read.

Common causes we check:

  • Burnt-out oven bulb or socket
  • Failed display or touchpad
  • Loose wiring to the panel
  • Faulty control board
  • Tripped door switch cutting the light

We get the light and controls working so you can see and set what you're cooking.

Our Whirlpool top-loader started leaking right before Christmas with guests coming. Called Sunday morning, technician was here by 2 PM, found a worn pump hose, had the part on the van. Saved my holiday.

Samsung French-door fridge stopped cooling. Tech ran diagnostics, explained the compressor relay was the issue, showed me the part before installing. Cost was fair and warranty paperwork clear. Will use again.

Dryer wasn't heating. Booked online, got a call back in 20 minutes. Fixed same afternoon. No upsell, no nonsense.

Two young kids and our Bosch dishwasher decided to flood the kitchen on a Monday. I was a mess. They sent someone within hours. Patient, explained the inlet valve issue, cleaned up after himself. Genuinely helpful.

KitchenAid double oven, one element gone. Took two weeks to schedule because of holidays, but they kept me updated. Arrived on time, brought the right part first visit. Working perfectly six months later.

LG washer was making a horrible noise on spin. Another company quoted $800 for a full motor replacement. These guys diagnosed a bad bearing, fixed it for under $300. Honest work — not common these days.

My elderly mother in West Abbotsford had her oven die. The technician was kind, took time to explain things to her, didn't rush. Called me afterward to confirm what was done. That kind of care matters.

Frigidaire ice maker stopped working. Tech got it running but took two visits because the part wasn't on the van. They didn't charge for the second visit though. Fair.
